Miyabi Arts. The essence of traditional Japanese elegance with a modern twist. The Miyabi brand strives to transpose the beauty of Japanese art and culture into exclusive lifestyle products for collectors around the world. Our inspiration is drawn from relics within the remarkable Hosomi Private Collection.
The Hosomi private collection consists of works collected by the late Osaka industrialist, Hosomi Ryo. Those include notable pieces of Heian and Kamakura Buddhist/Shinto art, Muromachi ink painting, Negoro lacquer ware and tea ceremony kettles, Momoyama ceramics and cloisonne, as well as Edo painting such as Rimpa and Ito Jakuchu. All by celebrated artists from major time periods throughout history, most of which have never been publicly available or shown.
For the first time in the modern-day, Miyabi Arts will show the world the hidden treasures of the Hosomi Collection.
